The Dive The Philippines site is an informational and social networking worldwide scuba community created, designed and driven by Philippine Divers and all our friends around the world who, like us, just can't get enough of diving in Paradise, and can't help but share it with the rest of the diving world.
Our primary goal is to spread the word on what Philippines diving has to offer with the rest of the world, AND have fun doing, all while making new worldwide scuba friends, and re-establishing existing friendships. If "We Build It, They will Come".
Philippines dive destination information is often hard to come by outside of the Philippines, so we want this to become an information portal powerhouse.
We are creating this community a little different though. We want all members to be able to edit and add to the information here as well as socialize. That means ALL design, formatting, listings, and edit suggestions are discussed and if ultimately it will advance our above stated goals, it will be acted upon.
We're also want to keep this a positive, pleasant community, so politics and agendas are checked at the door, as the world is watching!
If any member has an idea on how to better build, organize and manage this community if we collectively agree that it will advance the experience here and promote Philippine scuba tourism, then it gets acted upon.
Yes, we are brand new, but we need your help, so EVERYTHING on the Dive The Philippines Community is subject to additions and edit, even this explanation, by anyone, even resort owners and staff, offering better words, ideas and information.
